The parade generally features over sixty units consisting of bands, local community groups, sports teams, antique cars, clowns and others. Some of the highlights of previous parades include the nationally acclaimed Blue Star Drum and Bugle Corps, the Billy Mitchell Scottish Pipe Band, and the UW Spirit Squad with Bucky Badger. The parade is routed East on Silver Spring Drive through the heart of downtown Whitefish Bay and heads North on Lake Drive to the finish at Klode Park. At Klode Park the celebration continues with games and prizes to entertain children, and music and food for the entire family. Several popular local bands have kept Klode Park hopping until it's time for the big finale - fireworks under the stars. Families and friends socialize on blankets and quilts awaiting the amazing pyrotechnic display, a perfect end to a terrific day in Whitefish Bay.
